We are pleased to present a preview of the ESPACE MONTMORENCY project. An architectural gem erected in Laval, Quebec, for which Sphenix Mperia had the honor of contributing structural engineering services in 2021 on behalf of contractors Revêtements Despatis and Distributions Styro.
We were mandated to perform the structural calculations for the anchoring framework and the architectural soffit panels for the entire building. We also produced the shop drawings for the construction and installation of the soffits.
Espace Montmorency | Laval QC
Espace Montmorency is a multifunctional real estate complex developed by Groupe Sélection in partnership with Montoni and the Fonds Immobilier de Solidarité FTQ.

As an added bonus, the building complex was erected near the Montmorency metro station, facilitating travel between the Laval suburbs and the greater Montreal metropolitan area. Residents will thus be able to work, shop, and access social and leisure activities without constantly needing a car.
